Gator Beat plays their own brand of South Louisiana dance music. They combine Cajun, Zydeco and New Orleans Funk rhythms, keeping audiences dancing at festivals and parties from Louisiana to Las Vegas, to the West Coast and Canada. It's a band with a beat that bites!

This was the first time I attended a dance at the PPAA and I brought along a friend who knew nothing about Zydeco. She enjoyed the thorough lesson, and we both had a great time. Once we got started, we didn't want to stop dancing! Gatorbeat had a great selection of song material that was really fun and engaging.
We will definitely be back!
